“A smoking rosé that has fabulous flavor intensity and depth, Bastide Blanche's 2014 Bandol Rose (based largely on Mourvedre) sports a medium salmon color to go with mineral-laced notes of orange blossom, melon, cherry pit and spice. Medium+-bodied, rich, full and layered, with integrated acidity, it has terrific depth of fruit and serious length on the finish, all while staying perfectly balanced and easy drinking. La Bastide Blanche Bandol Rosé 2017 is made from 28 year old vines with a blend of 40% Mourvèdre, 30% Cinsault, 30% Grenache. Its precise aromatics are packed with fragrant raspberries, wild cherries and strawberries. Very refined and savoury on the palate with a medium body, fresh red fruits and a delightfully smooth, stony mineral zing.
